The Heroine's journey to empowering your Authentic Self is through Embodied Emotional Discovery

This weekend retreat for women is open to all, no prior experience of yoga is necessary, come and be nurtured and supported so that you can connect to what is truly important to you. You know, one of the biggest steps you could take in changing your people-pleasing tendencies is giving this gift to yourself.

  • Coming together in a circle as women is a soulful journey filled with profound power. Our daily circle time is an intimate exploration, a sacred space where we uncover the intricacies of people-pleasing tendencies. Through heartfelt exchanges, we listen to each other's stories, allowing the veils of pretense to gently slip away, revealing the beauty of our authentic selves. Guided by empathy and a shared sense of spirit, we weave together strategies that honor the depth of our souls, inviting a transformative shift from these well-worn patterns. We will keep track of our inner world through daily journalling and meditation.

  • By feeling the physical manifestations and attributes of people pleasing, ie how does "no" feel in your body? We begin to map out our own individual felt sense of our tendencies. This is a key part, without embodying what has been discussed, it becomes just another intellectual discussion that was perhaps, interesting and recognisable.

By actually feeling the uncomfortable sensations of "NO" we can start to work with how to be with that and create boundaries that allow us to make a choice that is right for us, not the other.

  • This Weekend Retreat is also dedicated to offering precious time for self-nurturing and nourishment. A profound lesson for those inclined to please others is the affirmation that it's perfectly okay to receive. Delving into this concept is a captivating exploration in its own right. Often, being the perpetual giver creates an illusion of control. Embracing the art of receiving becomes a poignant act of vulnerability, weaving a tapestry of personal growth and connection during our retreat.

  • Connect deeply with the natural world, allowing its energy to infuse your spirit. Engage in wild water swimming, immersing yourself in the vitality of flowing currents, and feel the primal connection to the elements.

Barefoot dancing becomes a sacred dance of grounding, a communion with the earth beneath your feet. As you move, let the ancient energy of the land resonate through your body, rekindling a profound connection to yourself and the world around you. The challenges you face—whether in the wild waters or the dance of barefoot steps—mirror the resilience within, reflecting the transformative power of meeting challenges head-on.

In the quiet moments of walking, let the whispers of the earth guide your steps. Each footfall becomes a meditation, a communion with the land, and an acknowledgment of the sacredness in the ordinary. Your voice, too, becomes a conduit for self-expression and connection. Engage in voice work, releasing the echoes of your inner self into the world.

Shamanic drumming—using this vessel of rhythmic energy, connecting you to the heartbeat of the earth and your own commitment to change.
