31st January - 2nd February
Nurture your soul in this winter yoga retreat that is the perfect antidote to the mayhem of December. Join myself and Adele (Harmonise You, a women's holistic service) as we combine; yoga, meditation, essential oils, exploring the archetypes of woman to reconnect to yourself...to nature....to other sisters as we come together on the mat and around the roaring open fire. This women's retreat is a space for you, where nothing is expected, but a lot can be gained.
How much of yourself do you give away, especially around Christmas. Are you the one that makes the “magic” of Christmas happen but at a cost to our own energy, authenticity and needs. Or do you become the “good girl” giving yourself up to be others' expectation of you.. daughter, wife, mother?
Maybe you're fed up feeling like you’re on a hamster wheel and you can’t get off?
Do you crave time to just stop, breathe and have time to think?
Do you want to spend time getting to know yourself again, away from the noise of life?
This retreat will gently facilitate your journey to slow down, reflect on what is out of balance in your life and then look at releasing that which no longer serves you. The purpose of this winter retreat is to support you to leave feeling empowered to live the life in alignment with your true self, so you negate the need to ever retreat again!
Throughout the weekend, you will have the opportunity to experience dynamic yoga to energise, restorative yoga to soothe the nervous system, to journey inward held in the vibrations of a sound bath, meditative kirtan, reflective exercises, connection, work on improving sleep quality, yoga nidra, understanding hormone imbalances and what it means to be a woman in today’s world.
Everything is optional and if you can choose to just spend the time cosied up round the open fire with a book if you’d prefer or walking in the acres of countryside that surround the house.
Baziers Park is a beautiful Grade II* country house and estate on the edge of Ipsden – a small village near Wallingford, Oxfordshire. The "Strawberry Gothic" style has a unique charm with real log fires and plenty of squishy sofa's. It is home to a unique intentional eco-community and has been used as a film location for large- and small-budget films. It is surrounded by 55 acres of land, organic kitchen garden and livestock of sheep and chickens. There are plenty of nooks to nestle into or winter walks around the gardens and woodland, before warming yourself around the fire. The bedrooms are simple but comfortable and warm.

Soraya & Hil, Thank you for an amazing weekend. I have enjoyed it all and have gone on a journey into myself...the highlights were the sound bath and all the vibrations, the restorative yoga and the lovely people I've met.
Thank you for an amazing weekend, I loved everything, especially the setting, the food, the classes and the company, Soraya & Hils you are great teachers.
Bonhays is the ideal setting, a very safe and nurturing environment with lovely accommodation. The weekend was enjoyable and time for me that was needed, As always, Soraya you are very good at guiding us into our inner selves and helping us face difficulties. You provide a safe, loving caring environment that helps us do this and how important all of this is. It was great to do walking alongside the yoga, especially in such an amazing setting.
A beautiful and loving weekend, which I hope to be part of next year.
Thank you for making this such a fulfilling and joyful experience! This was a big step for me as Ive never done anything like this before....knowing that you were there to facilitate mad me feel comfortable because I know I can trust you and I like your approach to things. I liked the structure of the retreat and the mix of people, it was well organised with a lovely setting and excellent food. I enjoyed the Nordic walking as a great way to 'un-learn' walking habits and enjoy this beautiful part of the world
A wonderful retreat - although I didn't know anyone, I felt very welcome and safe. Enjoyed all of it! Food was brilliant, so lovely not to have to plan my meals. I particularly loved your readings and managed to cut out a lot of 'noise'. I am looking forward to next years retreat, already.
